Inês Desa, Master Stylist

Inês is a professional at her craft, specializing in classic and current color trends, bridal hair, and cutting extensions and wigs. What makes her stand out is her dry cutting technique made famous by the late John Sahag. After attending classes taught by John Sahag himself, she was convinced this technique was for her.

She recently moved to Atlanta from Boston where she owned debú salon and day spa (featured in the motion picture Bride Wars), and has worked in Boston’s best salons. Still traveling back frequently shows her commitment to the clients that have made her a successful stylist.

Her work has been on TLC’s Makeover Story, the Go Go’s, Eden’s crush (featuring Nicole Scherzinger), runway shows in Boston, and editorial work in Boston magazines. She attended the London Hair Show in 2002, and has attended the IBS in NYC every year since 1999.

Inês is certain her purpose is to make people look good, so they feel good about themselves. She believes self-confidence is a powerful tool for living a happier life.

Inês started styling hair when she was eleven years-old; her first clients were her Barbie and her sister. Gradually, with practice, her client-base extended to other family members and friends.  After graduating from college Inês struggled to find her calling, until her mother suggested she just do what makes her happy!

These days Inês prides herself on being a trained professional, specializing in classic and current color trends, bridal hair, cutting extensions and wigs, and the dry cutting technique made famous by the late John Sahag.

Inês credits the many talented people she’s worked with over the years for her growth as a hair stylist and her family for inspiring her to grow as a person.
